Cyber Essentials Accreditation

Cyber Essentials

Synium are very pleased to announce their attainment of the Cyber Essentials Accreditation.

Cyber security is becoming increasingly important and this has prompted the government to launch a ‘Cyber Essentials’ accreditation programme (Click Here)

“From 1 October 2014, government requires all suppliers bidding for certain sensitive and personal information handling contracts to be certified against the Cyber Essentials scheme.”  (From the Cyber Essentials site)

Cyber Essentials is a framework of security measures  all organisations should implement to enhance their data security and protection.  It addresses areas involving;  Perimeter Security (Firewall, and Router security);  PC/Laptop Security; Anti-Virus and Anti-Malware prolicies;  Mobile Devices Security; and general data security.  It is an excellent framework of best practice, and, once these measures are all in place is a straightforward process of accreditation.

With these measures in place, organisations can be safe in the knowledge they are much safer and more secure with their online activity.  The programme also includes insurance against security breaches – free of charge.

Now  Synium have achieved Cyber Essentials accreditation, we are well placed to help our existing clients further improve their security, as well as helping new clients gain Cyber Essentials security.

If you would like more information on how your organisation can become more secure – and give you the opportunity to prove your commitment to online security – and to hear how Synium can guide you through the Cyber Essentials scheme;
